God Knows...

exactly what we need.

Sometimes that just looks different than we think it should.

David has been talking again about Jaqueline and Ashley. It began when I was playing one of the songs that Jaqueline chose for her funeral. David stopped running around and looked thoughtful. Then he shared, "That's Ashley's song!" Then he went over to their picture, described it, and informed me that Ashley should come over to play with him. I explained that she can't because she is in heaven, but that we would see her when we get to heaven. To which he responded, "Maybe we can let her come here so that she can play for a little bit??"

Jaqueline is pregnant.

She is working nonstop at a laundromat making just enough for food and to make ends meet.

She hasn't had time to go to the doctor to start prenatal care.

Her fiance hasn't been able to work for the past three weeks. He is currently in the hospital suffering from dysentery.

We spoke yesterday and she called today to ask for help...he needs medication and they don't have the money to pay for it. Left untreated, dysentery can be fatal.

Lee wired her some money. A random amount.

It was the EXACT amount they needed...

God is so good. We are praying that through these circumstances, God becomes that much more real to Jaqueline and her fiance. It is so hard to know how much she is suffering and man...I wish she could just catch a break one of these days BUT I also know that God has a purpose for her and knows exactly what she needs.
