Distraction / Impulse Buy

The boys have never had a pet. We didn't really intend for the boys to have a pet until we moved to a larger home. 

We took a walk through a pet store this afternoon after saying goodbye to Little D. 

We were just going to look around, but ended up coming home with this little guy. 

It would be a lie if I said this purchase wasn't emotionally driven. 

The boys are thrilled and Lee and I spent a good 10 minutes watching him after the boys went to sleep tonight. 

You know you are grieving and desperately needing a distraction when you resort to buying a hamster.
