Weekend With Z

I had this thought that since our 4 days with A went so smoothly, just a weekend with Z would be a breeze. Not quite. The biggest difference is David's reaction. He was so calm and relaxed when A was here. This weekend is a completely different story. They love each other so much and get so excited that they both start bouncing off the walls. Z waking David up at a ridiculously early time this morning left them both a little cranky and so by the time we finished our fun morning at a community picnic and made it home in time for nap, the house was filled with tears and whining. Good times:).

Even so, they are adorable together and the amount of hugs and kisses around here has multiplied! We are always thankful for the memories that we get to continue to make with Z. In fact, it was really special last night when we sat down to look at David's photo album together. She was so excited to see pictures of herself in there! I feel so blessed that we have been able to share a portion of her past with her....it will never be lost.

Well, the weekend fun is not yet over. We are going to be out this afternoon looking for a new car for Lee and we are excited for a fun day on Monday when we get to join David's good buddy at the Animal Park! Hopefully, I'll have more pictures to share by Tuesday:).
