He's almost six years old.
We have thought about how strange it will be when he turns six. That is the age his brother was when he first walked through the doors of our one bedroom apartment back in 2007. His big brother was six years old and David was just 3 months old.
Crazy.
He's almost six, though, and time is not slowing down. I would venture to say it is speeding up. His brother will be 12 soon and we are hoping to see him before his birthday. He is an awesome big brother...one that we are proud David and Anthony have to look up to.
Anthony.
The other day as we were getting into the car, both boys had new haircuts and were finally able to wear shorts and t-shirts. I just stared at him for a minute in disbelief and awe that we have the privilege of watching him grow up. Just about a year ago you could find me randomly melting down and crying in my car (usually after my evening grocery shopping trips) at the thought of him leaving.
What a gift God has given us...two such incredibly fun, loving, crazy, silly, passionate boys. I can't wait to see how God uses them!
