Comfort

"Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4

I do feel so incredibly blessed by all of the friends and family that God has placed in my life to comfort me...hug me with their arms and words. Most importantly, I find such comfort in God's promises...


I pray that I take that comfort and pass it on to my boys.

"My body rests in hope." Acts 2:26

At this point, all I have is hope that at some point I will find complete rest in knowing that our trustworthy Heavenly Father is in charge....not me, not the social worker, not the lawyers, and not the judge. I also have hope that at some point, these individuals will truly comprehend how TIME impacts children.


"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." James 4:8 

(A) found his stone with this verse and read it to me tonight. It was perfect timing. I love how that always happens. I think it is part of God's promise to comfort us:).
