Corn + Ear = Not a Good Thing

You don't even want to know...

Ok, if you must. Instead of napping at school, our youngest apparently thought it was a good idea to see how a corn kernel would fit in his ear.

It might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but two painful attempts to remove it at the hospital and one surgery later...I highly doubt if anything else is going to end up in his ear!

Poor kid.

You would be surprised at how common this is and how many children are tempted to stick corn kernels in their noses and ears. Wonder why...the color? the shape? Who knows!

Anyway, we are just glad it is out and hope his poor little ear recovers quickly.
