My Extrovert

(A) is an extrovert. Being around new people causes him to be so excited at times he can barely contain himself.

Like tonight, when our neighbor stopped by around bedtime and (A) looked at me with these wide wild eyes asking if he could go and say goodnight to her. She had already left and he was very disappointed.

He also draws people to him. When I am out with both boys, people end up stopping to talk with (A) while David silently listens in and doesn't say a peep the entire time.

Here is an example of what (A) might say when we are out and about. We are still working on instilling at least some amount of fear of strangers....not sure if we'll ever get there:).

"Hi! My name is (A) and this is my big brother, David. He is 5 1/2 and I am 5. I also have a little brother and his name is (a). What's your name?"

Lee, David, and I are more introverted and so it was an adjustment at first....getting used to (A)'s style and embracing it into our family. I love it, though, and can't wait to see how God uses it as he grows up!
