My Gift

David was home sick today. Woke up with what he described as a sore jaw. Both Lee and I were startled by the amount of swelling under his ear.

His doctor informed us that we were his first patients of the new year- what an accomplishment! Thankfully, the swelling was from his lymph nodes and with antibiotics, he is already feeling better.

Anyway, as David and I were driving to pick up (A) from school, his stuffed bear started 'talking' about getting a present for me, Lee, (A), and David.

My Gift as described by David...I mean, his bear:

"A picture frame with a picture of you, Daddy, David, (A), and Mommy N!"

I LOVE that he feels as though we are all a big family and that he knows I would like a picture representing that:).
