Here is Lee with his staples:

Here he is without:
He is working hard in physical therapy to regain the use of his right arm again!
I realize that I rarely take pictures of the boys anymore....I need to work on that:).
A good friend of mine who I have not seen in ages, traveled from NYC to DC today! We had the chance to visit with her for a couple hours this afternoon. David joined me in bringing her to the Jefferson Memorial and he was thrilled to do so. While he is usually pretty quiet around unfamiliar people, today he was talking up a storm! Maybe it was the new 'cool shirt' that she bought for him? That kid is way too concerned about what he wears haha. He must get it from his dad because I practically wear the same thing every day. Wait a minute....so does David. Hmmm. I guess that is what you do when you only have a few 'cool shirts!'
Anyway, here we are using my iPad and attempting to get some good shots of DC landmarks. Not sure we were all that successful:).
(A) hung out with Lee today. He has been having a rough couple of days. Poor kid. Poor Lee. Poor me:).
While visiting the Martin Luther King Memorial, I took a picture of this quote - it might be hard to see so let me write it out:
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
