Enduring

Psalm 136: "His steadfast love endures forever."

Endure: to persist through painful circumstances

I knew that God's love was steadfast (umoveable, unchangeable)...

I knew that God's love was forever (with no end)...

For some reason, though, I always ignored the fact that His love ENDURES.

I'll admit that at times, I am tempted to distance myself when I think of him leaving....so that the loss won't be as painful. It is easier to shut down my emotions than fully feel.

It isn't right, though. It isn't what I want....I want to show him Christ's love through me and so....

I pray that over these next few months...God gives me his love for (A)...his steadfast love that 'persists through painful circumstances' forever.
