Lights, Camera, Action!

If you have the chance, please pray for us tomorrow afternoon. A videographer will be joining us at our home, filming an interview with us about fostering.

I don't really feel all that nervous, but I would love prayers for God to give us the words to share so that whomever ends up watching the video clip is touched in some way.

Lee and I had originally thought that when sharing about Jaqueline and Ashley, we would stay focused on how much support we received from social services, our friends, family, and community.

After praying with a friend this morning, however, I came to a realization. God did NOT allow all of the miracles surrounding Jaqueline and Ashley's return to the US and time here to occur so that we could minimize and avoid them because we are scared of how people will react. He allowed those miracles to happen so that we can share about the numerous answered prayers and glorify Him in it all.

"We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves." 2 Corinthians 4:7

And so tomorrow we will brag about each one of our kids (without using names of course) and we will boldly share about how God is surprising at times, but always purposeful in the people He brings into our lives.
