Just today we passed on the boys' dresser to a soon to be foster mom. David helped bring the drawers out to her car and we talked about praying for the little boy or girl who might use it.
He was very excited about all the space it left in his room and commented on it a couple of times while playing.
Tonight, Lee approached me and asked accusingly, "Did you talk to David about putting another bed in his room?"
I looked at the empty space where the dresser once stood and imagined Anthony's toddler bed there years ago and laughed.
"No - I promise! I said nothing. David - are you wanting another little brother to sleep in your room?"
He smiled and nodded.
Sweet David…ready to share his heart and home again!
