My suitcase is packed with my clothing and the adorable baby clothing given to me by a dear friend.
My backpack is packed with my passport, Bible, journal, rainjacket, and well...that is pretty much it.
Letters are written and recorded for my boys to listen to each day I am gone.
Birthday cupcakes are frosted and ready to be devoured for dessert or maybe even breakfast tomorrow?:)
Directions to and from school are typed and printed for my mom. She asked for the address to a hospital in case of emergencies. Who knew that she would get to see first hand how to drive there today? (A) sliced his ear by falling and hitting a door frame. Thankfully no stitches were needed!
Lunches are packed for tomorrow and water bottles filled.
Immunizations for malaria and typhoid fever were forgotten.
Hugs and kisses for my boys were given in abundance.

God promises to keep us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on Him. I keep repeating this Bible verse and am just praying that God helps me to do HIS will while on this trip. I want to be focused on Him so that I can serve Jaqueline by loving her and caring for her in whatever way she needs.
She is in a tough place at the moment. Tired and sad - she reports. She is no longer naming her daughter Allison. It has changed to Frida. I would have never guessed and it is just so drastically different that it makes me wonder. We'll learn more when we arrive.
Goodbye for now....I'm sure I will have a lot to share upon my return!
