Today was a gift.
The boys woke up happy.
I gave them breakfast in bed....seriously....bagel and cream cheese.
David was Mr. Independent in a good way- very helpful and quick to listen!
I dropped them both off at day care and we were all as happy as could be (mommy might have been slightly more happy than the boys:).
I enjoyed a quiet breakfast at Panera and was actually able to read the Bible and take notes without interruption!
(A)'s eligibility meeting was a success! The audiologist totally advocated for him so that I didn't need to present any of the arguments I had written down and everyone agreed that he qualifies for an IEP- yeah!! I can't tell you how nice it is to finally have a team of professionals who 'get it' and want what is best for (A) just like us.
I spent the rest of the day with a dear friend. She joined me in visiting Ashley's grave. It had been too long.
We talked and shared about life and then it was time to pick up the boys!
My boys are awesome and I love them...you should hear the amount of laughter in our home some evenings (dare I say it outnumbers the cries?).
Even so, spending today without having to worry about ANYTHING was really really nice. It was a very special gift.
