Bad Bad Day

It was one of those days today. One of those awful days. One of those days that reminds me I never finished re-watching that 'Parenting is a Ministry' DVD series. I should probably pop it in tonight.

Anyway, let me share some highlights:

1) We all woke up bright and early this morning - David still had a fever and bad cough that had us up throughout the night.
2) We checked a few things off our 'to do' list and then headed to the airport. I asked Lee if he had told the boys about his trip- nope.
3) Said goodbye, boys cried and whined all the way home. Next time we need to prepare them.

You know, I think I can sum it up like this so I don't have to bore you by going on and on:

Goodbye to daddy + goodbye to extended family just a few days before + no AC + no nap = recipe for disaster.

It was just bad. Crying, whining, screaming, hitting....you name it.

BUT they are now asleep. It is so peaceful in the house. Our new AC unit is working and I am praying that tomorrow will be a better day. I'm praying that David's fever will break, that (A) will be in a good mood, that I will be in a good mood:), and that we can just have fun and enjoy each other!
