Brain Tumor

Some of you may already know that David's older sister, Angelica, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She lives in Ecuador and is just about to graduate college. Her symptoms were constant headaches, vision changes, and black-outs. If you could, please pray for her and her family. Pray that the tumor is benign and if not, that God provides them with the strength needed to get through this. We will know more once she has an MRI tomorrow and so I will keep you posted. Sometimes I wish I didn't know how to say 'CT scan' and 'MRI' in Spanish, but I do....

Obviously, this topic reminds me of Ashley and thinking of Ashley brings me to Jaqueline. Have I mentioned that I will get to see her in person in the fall?? I can't remember. Prayerfully, I will also get the chance to be there for the birth of her baby boy. What an amazing experience that will be. I can't wait to see what God's plans are for us during that time.

Ok, off to bed for me. Last night I was up every 3-4 hours with David. You know...doing the steam shower/cold freezer air combo to fight the croup-like cough....and of course, Tylenol, for the fever. He went to sleep tonight and still had a fever...day 5. I'm trying to fight feeling paranoid about anything, but I do have a tendency to jump to the conclusion that it must be something horrible like pneumonia or cancer. You know, cause those are diagnoses that we have heard before...too many times.
