Hope: Absolute confidence that God will keep his promise.

Waiting: Consequence of Hope

Tonight, (A) drew a picture of his family. It was his uncle, birth mom, himself and little brother. There was a sun and they were at the beach. He dictated what he wanted me to write under the picture:

"Dear Mommy A, I wrote this picture for you. I hope you miss me. I love you."

Then he asked, "When will I have a visit with my Mommy A? It is so hard to wait."

Oh, how my heart just aches for him. He shouldn't have to hope that his mom misses him and he shouldn't have to wait.

God promises, though, that he has good plans for our little man. Plans to prosper him and not to harm him...plan to give him hope and a future. Now THAT is worth waiting for.
