The Other Weekend & Bunk Beds!

The other weekend we drove up to MD to spend time with our friends from church. It was a gorgeous weekend, but (A) had a tough time with being away from home. At least I think that was the reason why he decided to try out the whole 'disrespectful' hat:).  Who knows?

Anyway, here are some pictures from our time:

Ok...now for more recent news! As of tonight, the boys have bunk beds!! It was absolutely adorable watching them both help Lee put it together. I left for a short while to buy mattress covers and when I returned, both David and (A) had actually helped Lee lift up the top bunk. He was amazed that they were so strong and they were both incredibly proud to have helped daddy.

By the time we tucked them in, they were exhausted. (A) was thrilled to be on the bottom because it 'is like a cave!' David was much less sure, but he fell asleep anyway:).

Here is a picture...we had them sleep with their old comforters to ease into their new beds.
