Free hours meaning no children, no appointments....nothing.
Isn't it an exciting thought?
I have been thanking God profusely for the 5 free hours I get almost every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Amazing. Unheard of.
I have personally been using the time to thoroughly clean and organize our house. The more clean and organized it is...the less cluttered my brain seems to be! I have also been taking time out to just sit and be quiet...to read the Bible and pray. It is so nice. Almost reminds me of the days before I had kids. I'm even contemplating taking up drawing and painting again!
The boys LOVE school and that is such a gift. David could talk nonstop for about 10 hours about the rooftop playground. Every single day he goes on and on about some obstacle he discovered and successfully conquered on the playground. He is very proud.
I know that he does do other things throughout the day because we are spoiled to have teachers that send us weekly pictures! See?
He does a little math....
Some music....
Oh, and this picture is from our spontaneous trip to the park for a picnic after church last Sunday:).
(A) had an amazing first week. I thought perhaps we had turned over a new leaf and I wouldn't have to worry about the poor kids in his class getting hit or pushed....
I guess I should be thankful that we had a good first week:).
In the meanwhile, I will continue to enjoy those 5 free hours while they play and learn at school!
