Psalm 8:2 "You have taught children and infants
to tell of your strength"
David: "I can hear from Heaven all the way down here. God talks to me in dreams. He tells me about Ashley. She can fly and that she has a new body because her soul is in heaven and now she can't get sick or hurt anymore."
I don't know about you, but we are looking forward to getting to heaven! David reminds me of it often and I am thankful for this. Especially as we head toward another difficult time of loss for him and our family. Lee and I recently explained to David that his brother of 15 months might not be with us for much longer. We put it in different words, obviously, but I don't want to share too much publicly. His response was heart-breaking:
"But I'm going to miss him. He's been with us for a really long time."
He lowered his head and looked so so sad.
Then he said, "But we took care of him when his mommy couldn't take care of him.....maybe we'll get another child to take care of. I'm going to really miss him."
Oh, sweet David.
Please pray for all of us, but especially for (A) and David. We just want to be able to all lean on and trust God during this time...may we stay hopeful and rely on God's strength rather than trying to do this in our own way.
