I have a boy. Perhaps someday another little girl will join our family...and then maybe I will title a post, "Bows & Ribbons." Then again, maybe not:). I mean, let's be honest, this is the mom who had to be taught how to put her foster daughter's hair into pony tails! Sad, but true. Not really surprising, though, to those who know me...
Anyway, I have a boy. My boy likes anything with wheels and he recently discovered a new-found love of dirt.
I have a boy whose birth mommy recently gave him a gift that most boys only dream about. Yes, that's right, a motorized car. Jeep. Truck. Whatever you want to call it. I'm just happy that it is finally out of our dining room and now on our patio!
Here are some pictures of his new vehicle:
Yep, it is quite large. Here are some pictures of David riding in it by himself and with a buddy. He is working on his driving skills and I'm pretty sure he has scared at least two friends enough that they don't care to ride in it with him anymore!
So that about covers the 'wheels' portion of this post. Now for the 'dirt.' I'm learning to not care about how disgustingly dirty David gets while we are outside. Maybe it is the beautiful weather that has me feeling more carefree or perhaps I am recalling my own childhood and how I spent hours outside, digging in the dirt, searching for bugs. It's true.
Ahhh memories. I love to watch David as he makes his own!
