This is Anthony's first time.
Here are some things we have done to help them. We are blessed because the baby's grandparents have really helped to make this an ideal transition for them in addition to the baby.
1) Picked out a song that will remind us of him
2) Visited his new house and room
3) Painted canvases for the baby's nursery
4) Created a book with written memories, pictures, and what the boys can do if they miss him
5) Indicated on the calendar when he would be moving
What I hope to do on his last day:
1) Have the boys help to pack some of his things
2) Listen to his song with him
3) Bring the boys with me when dropping him off at his home
4) Give each of them a gift - probably three of the same stuffed animals (the big boys really like stuffed animals) so that it can be used as a comfort item when they are missing him
