Urban Pirates

For the 4th of July we headed up to Baltimore with friends so that the boys could spend an hour or so as pirates...sailing in a pirate ship and looking for treasure.

It was very entertaining. Here are photos!

This was their favorite part, of course! What beats shooting water cannons? 

The following day I was exhausted. So that I could rest, the boys kindly dressed up like pirates and pretended to sail the seas searching for treasure and fighting bad pirates while I (the pirate queen) slept on their pirate ship. Now THAT is what I call quality imaginative play!
