David has been so proud to have a sister since seeing her on the computer Saturday night. Well, he actually claims two sisters...one who is biologically related to him (in Ecuador) and the other who is his brother's sister through adoption. Got that? Maybe? Yeah, it's complicated.
He is equally excited to have both and has been talking about the gifts he wants to give them. Too sweet.

We are sick over here. (A) contracted a virus and has kindly shared it with me. It has been nice, though, to spend some relaxing time with him at home. He is so much calmer!
The upset stomach that comes with this virus has been appropriately timed as it mirrors how nauseous I feel from the emotional roller coaster we are on. One day we are thrilled to be climbing up and the next day we feel our stomachs drop to the floor on our way down.
I thank God for an amazing pastor and good friends who are constantly reminding us that God has called us to share in his suffering so that others may know his love. (A) is always always worth it.

I used to love roller coasters when I was younger. Now...not so much!
* I was about to post a photo using that new technique of blurring out (A)'s face, but it just looked to creepy to me so I'm not posting it:). Maybe next time!
