Finally- a Photo Filled Post

We drove up to New York this weekend to spend time with family and to celebrate my mom's birthday!

It has been a really special time. The weather has been beautiful, the rain has stayed away, and we have been playing, eating, and exercising twice as much as usual:).

Ready for the photos? Here they are!

Breakfast at the Whistle Stop Cafe.

We found a turtle in the middle of the road so we caught it for the boys and Naomi to see and then let it go.

Reading books with the kiddos. It was so sweet to hold my niece. When we finished one book, she would quickly request, "More?"

David and Naomi playing the piano.

Trip to the playground. The boys decided to wear their goggles...just because.

Me and my dad.

David and (A) playing the piano with (A)'s favorite stuffed animal- Giraffe.

(A) and Naomi playing in the toy bin.

Beach Time! Ok...really it was a lake and a man-made beach, but that is close enough for us.

Apparently my niece looks more like me than my sister and my boys look more like her! She is so precious...I love her spunky little personality and sweet hugs and cuddles.

An impromptu wagon ride by Uncle Marty. We all had a blast taking a ride through the woods and watching as Lela (dog) kept trying so hard to jump up onto the wagon with us.

My mom and dad at my mom's birthday dinner.  We went to a restaurant called Dancing Cats that served incredible ribs and a very strange veggie burger.

Happy Birthday, mom...we are all so thankful for your life and especially for the incredible amount of love you have passed on to us and your grandchildren!
