Weekend

I brag about my grandparents all the time. 

I love my grandfather's passion for God's word and his enthusiasm for learning about the intricacies of the brain and how we can use our understanding of the brain to effectively teach. 

He has such a kind heart and warm spirit. 

My grandmother is my mentor (whether she knows it or not!). I look up to her. She is humble and honest and has encouraged me with her prayers and endless wisdom when I ask for advice. 

This weekend we spent time in NY with my parents and grandparents (who were visiting from CA). It was such a wonderful time and I was especially pleased that they were able to meet Little D. My grandparents have met almost all of the children who have been a part of our family. They have supported us during each and every journey so it gave me great joy that they were able to meet this sweet boy in person! 

Anthony and David love their Grandma, Grandpa, YiaYia, and Papa. They soak up all their love and can't wait until the next time we are together again.
