A month ago, the boys and I (ok...more me than the boys) decided that their room needed some artwork. Because they love to paint and I had some extra canvases lying around, we decided that they would do the honors!
We looked online for images and they found some pictures of robots that they liked.
They sketched them out, I painted the background, drew them on the canvases, and then they painted away!
Here is the final product. Two were painted by David and two were painted by Anthony:

David's reading fluency is greatly improving and Anthony is also reading quite well!
Yesterday I was looking at the space where our Christmas tree had been and well, it is always really exciting to have extra space:). We decided to use that little corner as our new 'Reading Corner.'
We need a rug or something to put down to designate the space, but for now we are using a soft blanket. On the wall, are two framed photos from David's and Anthony's adoption days and in between is this canvas that I recently found at the Lifeway Christian Bookstore:
We have already started using the space together and I hope to see the boys snuggled up in that corner and reading independently soon!
