I was browsing through pictures of children in foster care waiting for forever families in Virginia (www.adoptuskids.org) and came across this young woman. She is 17 years old. If you feel led, please join me in praying for her! I love her smile:).
About CATRINA
Athletic, musical and a great cook, Catrina is a social young woman who was recently accepted into a highly competitive culinary arts program. She is an excellent student and enjoys the activities that school has to offer; she is on the girls' basketball team and plays the saxophone in the school band. Her ideal family would help her reach her educational goals, continue to guide her toward independence and help her keep in touch with her biological family. Catrina take pride in having a job and being a role model to younger children. She goes to church every Sunday and is working hard to gain the skills that will help her toward a loving family life and a rewarding career. Catrina needs a family that has had history or training with young people who have experienced emotional trauma.
