Note to self.
Whenever my boys start avoiding me ....read this post.
-----------
Just a little background for those of you who don't know- I work at the school where my children attend. Yes, I love it.
-----------
Anyway, (A) was walking out of his Science class when he spotted me, signed "I love you," and proudly announced,
"That's MY mommy!"
The little girl behind him elaborated, "Yeah, she's your mommy and she lives here at the school."
(A) look indignant as he responded, "She does not!"
Don't you remember those days when you swore that your teachers lived at the school and it was so so strange when you saw them in public?
I don't know how the conversation ended as they were in line to go to the playground, but I do know that I don't ever want to forget those precious words:
"That's MY mommy"
Yes, sweet (A), that is right...I am all yours and you are MY son!
