What a weekend it has been! A wonderfully full weekend.
Anthony is officially seven years old. I cannot believe we have two seven year olds. Wow.
On Friday, we celebrated his birthday AND Grandparents day with my parents who drove all the way down here from NY. It was so special to have them here for the weekend.
We woke up early Friday morning and Anthony opened a few presents.
Then later on he opened more presents...
Anthony's favorite color is blue so we made some blue cupcakes...

The following day Anthony received the best birthday surprise he could have ever asked for....his little brother travelled to our house to surprise him! Anthony has been missing his younger brother since we last visited this summer so it was such a gift for them to spend the afternoon together on Saturday. They had a great time together.
After we said goodbye, the four of us went to the movies! We don't do that often...in fact, the last time we were at the theater was for Anthony's 6th birthday. Anyway, I was amazed at the seating....boy did we feel spoiled reclining in our seats.
It was a late night and the boys were so exhausted they actually slept in until close to 7am. THAT was a first:). Today we went to church and celebrated with Anthony's birth mom.

Except it's not...we're almost at the beginning of a new year and are excited to see what God has planned for our boys! I am praying that each of us will draw closer to Him with each passing day.
